The Mandoforms development process has been established to support your project demands and meet you business needs.
Capturing your requirements
Working jointly with key customer representatives the aim of this stage is to capture the full project scope and your main functional requirements. The results are documented using the concept of 'Actors' and 'Story cards'. Non-functional requirements are also captured at this stage.
Non-functional considerations include your system availability, architectural constraints and expected initial and future volumes and online performance, all of which play a key role in system design.
Rapid prototyping of your requirements is performed using the Mandoforms Builder Tool so you can view the developing output from the Requirements capture process.
Finally your business critical success factors and priorities are captured.
Techniques used
Capturing requirements is performed using a number of techniques. JAD workshops are favoured because the result is high quality output in the shortest elapsed time.
Project proposal
At the project proposal stage, all of the information gathered during requirements capture is analysed and a high level design is created.
All estimates are compiled based on the system components identified during the high level design phase.
Finally an incremental delivery schedule is generated that is driven by business priorities, technical risks and system component dependencies.
